Zero dollar day.
Spent about 50 bucks on food the last two days–Monday was my 40th birthday, and I took half the day off and got some snacks, but I got mired in depression, and it wasn’t very satisfying. Yesterday was better, so I made it another half-day and got some more snacks. Rather enjoyed myself yesterday.
Today was a close thing; I nearly let myself fuck around again after my teaching was done, but I climbed back on the horse and got 3 hours of van work in, followed by an hour of exercise.
Gonna buy some Winter tires for the van. Looks like that’s gonna run me about 1000$. Winter here, about an hour south of Buffalo, NY, could get bad.
Nick Cave’s novel, “And the Ass saw the Angel,” is fucking incredible. Back to it.
